An irreverent presentation of the jewellery made by Ian Addison

The Kiss of Life

Picture

Here's a shot of the ring showing how the tentacles moves as your hand tilts.

Sadly, the current design is proving too fragile for me to want to sell the ring, but watch this space, I do intend to remake it.  I am also thinking of taking the concept forward to a pendant, necklets, cuff and ear-rings.

Does that wet (sic) your appetite?  Give me a shout.

Silver and abalone shell,  "anemone" ring

A one-off design, made as a concept.
Not for Sale

I liked the first ring that I designed based on this expression, so I though that I would develop the idea further.  I also like things that are tactile and move (like my worry rings), so I thought that I would experiment with this design.

The anemone's tentacles are lengths of snake chain soldering onto the body, with the mouth represented by the piece of vivid blue abalone shell.

The feeling of the tentacles brushing across your finger as you move is
quite remarkable.
