An irreverent presentation of the jewellery made by Ian Addison

Desk-top Pen Holders

Picture
I suppose that I am stretching things a bit when I said that these were made to commission because it was me that did the commissioning.  I made them as a birthday presents for some old friends.

Now, do I mean that they are friends who are old, or friends of many years standing?

Or both?

Ref: Msc 001
Sterling silver and oak pen holders.

Made to commission.
Sold

This pair of pen holders are my first real foray into what is technically
the world of silversmithing (but only just) with a bit of inlay work thrown
in.

The pen holders themselves are sterling silver tubes, and the bases are
solid oak machined out with recesses for paper clips and the like, and a series
of slots for holding business cards, etc.
