This is where I try to palm you off with all sorts of rubbish under the pretence of it being a bargain, special offer, BOGOF, mother's day / father's day / pet rabbit's day / any-other-excuse day, or just a never-to-be-repeated (until the next time) moment of madness. Ha!
Here's the truth. Sometimes things don't go to plan. Sometimes things don't turn out as well as they should have. Maybe it was a trial piece. Maybe I overheated it a bit. Maybe a joint is not as perfect as I would like. Maybe.....
If something is a real disaster, I just throw it into my scrap pot for the silver to be be re-refined. But sometimes, while it may not be perfect (is anything?) I might have a piece that I think, yeah, I still rather like that. Think cute little puppy-dog with a wonky ear, but the tail still wags faster than your mum's finger on a bad day.
