"Ovals and Agate" Necklace
A bit of blatant opportunism this: I had a series of ovals pieces of silver left from another neckpiece, so I put them together to make this rather handsome piece.
The stone is a lovely grey lace-agate. You can see it better in the next photograph

You can also see that each of the ovals has a fine satin finish
For the final bit of detail, here's a shot from the back.
You'll see that I've used a lobster-claw fastener, but you
can also see a bit more of how the links are constructed:
an oval of silver wire looped through a pair of rings on the
back of each ovals. All wire joints are soldered (all
60-ish of them).
The
piece is hallmarked on the back of the setting for the stone.
