Jigsaw Rings

It's always great to get a commission, but when it's for something as important as someone's wedding or engagement, that's something special.  And when it's the complete set... Well, as you can imagine, I was chuffed.

Don't know why, but I never got the full story of the jigsaw-puzzle idea behind the design, but that is what the rings are based on.  Yes, they do separate.

Of course, we are not talking 'separation' here, I hope, More 'coming together'.  The polished silver part is the engagement ring, and the frosted part fits in as the wedding ring to complete the 'marriage'.

To anyone thinking that they would like rings like this too, remember that these are a one-off, so you ain't going to get the same. 

Also remember that silver is quite a soft metal, and not ideal for rings.  However, as with other rings with this frosted finish, I have told the happy couple that they can always just send them back to me with a padded SAE and I will send them back re-frosted, sparkling and pristine for no extra charge for as long as I'm capable. 

Wouldn't it be great if we could do the same when the shine wears off a marriage, as (let's be realistic) we all know it can do.

Hm, hope that doesn't sound pessimistic.  Having met the happy couple, albeit briefly, I don't think that it will  be necessary in this marriage.
